I don’t want any changes to our current uniforms. Oregon unis are cool, but the traditional unis are my favorite. Notre Dame, Penn St., Michigan and most of all TEXAS
Agree fun to play around with but keep them off the field!!!
Mr. Charles Sollars needs to EABOD/DIAF and if you don’t know what that means, google it. Horrible Don’t f**K withe Texas you idiot.
#5 is great; reminds me of the orange helmut ut had back in the early 50″s. I can do without the rest.
No
Have you seen the OU helmet concepts?

The wheelbarrow was the #1 conveyance in the OK Land Rush. The covered wagon is just wishful revionist history. Put wheelbarrows on those helmets, then we’ll talk.
In my opinion the white pants the white jersey and the white helmet with the orange steer is TEXAS. It’s history.
If I had to pick one I would say #5. Make the orange mirrored like oregons was but in the color orange ( orange mirrored )
With white pants and white jersey with Texas in orange and numbers and names in orange.
The black helmet reminds me of texas tech , the horns looks cartoonish and the old school bevo one is kid like
Why would/should Texas change to ugly helmets, like some of the other wantabees? Oregon and TCU went over the top on this and it was really sad. KState joined late and their uniforms and hats were awful.
When you have the best and most distinctive helmets in football, you don’t change them.
Leave the helmets alone!
Number 5 is the best one. If you changed the color scheme on the black one it might work…. (helmet 4) more orange fading in the black…
Thanks for your responses. Doesn’t look like most Longhorn fans are too thrilled with these helmets. That’s good feedback, you know in case DeLoss Dodds starts huffing glue and thinks moving to some of these is a good idea. He has a good focus group to work with.
The only one I would consider is the orange one. The black one would be better if the only graphic it had was the longhorn. Otherwise, they all suck. Stick with the traditional white.
“Hell, no. I’m not going to candy this thing up. These are work clothes.” — Darrell K. Royal, on fancy, striped uniforms
Please, no. I love our classic helmet.
Love, love, love number 5 with one change…make the Longhorn more graphic…similar to the Bronco on the Boise State white helmets and their blue helmets.
I understand these would only be worn occasionally; it would likely have a positive impact on recruiting as well.
Think of the marketing aspects and the subsequent new dollars coming in.
Don’t fix it if it ain’t broke. Our uniforms are classic.
PLEASE PLEASE don’t change our helemts. They are soooo UT and recognizable as UT.
#5 would be fine w/ the road uniform. Not too keen on the others, and the trend of “updated” unis … think it’s a “hook” that traditional powers don’t need to drum up recruiting and/or interest in their programs. However, older Longhorn fans may remember the early 1980s-era Cotton Bowl game versus ‘Bama when Texas wore a Cotton Bowl logo design on the white helmet over the burnt orange steer head that kinda resembled the #4 design above, and it was a cool look, advanced for the time. The Tide, of course, wore that year’s Cotton Bowl logo on their jerseys, and NOT on their traditional helmets. Can’t imagine ‘Bama going to Oregon-style unis these days, can you?! Finally, as a Texas fan, I’d leave everything alone, except I’d consider burnt orange shoes, like the basketball team now sports.
I could live with #5 if we were to wear them for one game. The rest of them – blech.
Texas has no reason to change their uniforms – we don’t need extra attention for what we wear. That said, I’ll bet our athletes would love an opportunity to play in a pro combat alternative uni – and that should mean something even to old-school people like me.
Like #4 and #5 #4 should go once every 2 years at least #5 maybe once a year w/ the home unis #1 once every 3 years don’t like #2.
THEY SUCK. Why mess with the best uniforms in College Football.
DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT mess with that helmet. You cannot improve on PERFECTION by “candying” the thing up.
DON’T DO IT!!!
TEXAS GEORGE
Plain white with the burnt orange decal. One look and you KNOW who you are doing business with!
Our colors are burnt orange and white, no black.
Don’t really like any of these concepts. #5 could make a nice desktop background image or would be good for the scout team….that’s about it. I appreciate the effort but don’t screw with what works well already.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Texas uniform is the best in all of sports ESPECIALLY the road uniforms.
Don’t mess with what ain’t broken.
Go away little man.
Why would you mess with the whites? The white uniforms are classic!! I agree. One game per year (#5 helmet) for recruiting purposes and the rest in the traditional.
i kinda like the silver helmet with the horns going around the side. but would be better if the helmet was black or white with orange horns. i like the idea of wearing the unis one or two games. the kids love it

I like em I personally thing our uniforms are kinda boring. #5 is my personal favorite
Like#5 the best for road uni, #1 for a special one time game, but I’m a storm trooper !!
like helmet2 n helmet4 the best design that’s my personal favorite….
