The Stony Brook Seawolves have shocked the college baseball world and earned a trip to the College World Series. The upset win over LSU in the Super Regionals marks a huge step for a program that hasn’t even been in Division 1 for baseball for that long.

It was hard to imagine seeing a Stony Brook team from out in Long Island get this far. They are the first team from the state of New York to make it to the CWS since St. Johns did it in 1980. Congrats to the Seawolves and making it to Omaha. They are going to make things interesting for sure. This is great for the sport. Are you paying attention college football?
