According to NBC Sports, Dyer has now discussed leaving for Division II program Pittsburgh State. Here’s the deal, Dyer had his waiver for immediate eligibility denied by the NCAA, stating that he could not play his first year with the Red Wolves. So according to a bogus rule, if he transfers down a level, he is eligible to play right away.

“In the next day or two, he’ll figure out his future,” says Dyer’s current head Malzahn.

Unfortunately for Arkansas State, Dyer was the key pickup in recruiting this year. So it appears that Dyer has found a better outlet, selfishness.

Arkansas State has issued a press conference for Friday the 20th. Probably to discuss the length of the field turf…
