LSU Stomps PAC 12 Opponent ; Defense Dominates

Well, I don’t know about you, but I was really nervous when Odell Beckham Jr. fumbled the opening kickoff return against Washington Saturday. This mistake led to an early 3-0 lead for the Huskies, and were the only points scored by Washington. Nearly 3 minutes later, LSU took the lead and never looked back. The Huskies’ QB, Keith Price is an excellent player and a team leader – however, he was no match for LSU’s Defense. He was 17-of-36 passing for 157 yards, plus an interception made by the true freshman, Jalen Mills. Price was sacked four times, hurried seven times, and had seven passes broken up.

LSU in recent years has been known for its defense, and in that time has been of the best in the country. It was only week two and LSU is again showing that they are one of the best. When their SEC opening game next week at Auburn rolls around, LSU will once again be tested. Perhaps the best test of all will be on Nov. 3rd versus the defending national champs, Alabama. This football season is still young and the excitement has only yet begun.

I'm from Thibodaux, LA and a freshman in college studying broadcast journalism. I am crazy about college football and the excitement it gives me! I am a huge LSU fan, and I keep up with the S.E.C.(Southeastern Conference). Even though I want to become a sports broadcaster, I love to write and I believe it is one of my many talents.
