Beyond Courtisde – Brackets Edition

TJ Rives is back with a special NCAA Tournament brackets edition of “Beyond Courtside.” In this episode TJ, myself and Mark Wise break down the field of 68. We talk specifically about the top seeds in Kentucky, Syracuse, North Carolina, and Michigan State. We then talk about the controversy surrounding Missouri’s seeding. It wouldn’t be an NCAA Tournament discussion without addressing the at large bids. This year the school being blasted for being allowed into the tournament is Iona. So sit back and enjoy a special brackets edition of “Beyond Courtside.”

  1. Quick Note – In the Podcast I mention that Missouri lost to Kansas twice. That was a mistake. I meant to say that they lost to Kansas State twice not Kansas. I apologize for the error.

With that said I stand by my position that Missouri was seeded properly. They did not deserve the 1 seed because UNC and Michigan State both had brutal non conference schedules. As far as the other 2 seeds they are the only ones to lose to a sub .500 team this year (OK State). Missouri fans would have a gripe if they were a 3 seed, but they are not.
